This post isn't about freebies but felt I needed to post this as so annoyed . We set out today to get to the zoo for 11.30 after coming off M3 at 11.15 a then journey which should have took 15 mins tops was 2 hours later we were still trying to get to the zoo which was where the traffic was heading .we still could not see the zoo ahead so we asked someone on foot how far it was only to be told they had seen a sign up a little way back from our car which we didn't see saying sorry zoo closed today sorry for any inconvenience ...why on was this zoo was closed at 1.30 is a mystery as called yesterday to ask what time they were open on the good Friday and it was definitely open..so after a 4 hour journey and wasted petrol we set off back home which only took us just over an hour! Has anyone else experienced this behaviour from this place?
