Parking is harder because some restrictions are relaxed and it varies between council areasThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
are parking limitations valid on bank holidays? thanks!
You would need to check the relevant signs to check if there is an exemption.
For example, where a council yellow line restriction is just 'Monday to Friday' , it will still apply today and on Monday, although today is a Public Holiday and Monday is a Bank Holiday.
In some areas there is no charge for car parks and on-street parking bays on Public and Bank Holidays, but other areas it is still chargeable.0 -
Many London Borough Councils often have a section on their website confirming whether or not that particular council relaxes parking restrictions.
