In december i went onto a debt management plan with cccs now when i was trying too get this sorted i got a copy of my file for a couple of quid from equifax. All my debts i was able too find letters etc of who was dealing with them bar 1 ie Vodafone. They are a nightmare

I have a debt on my credit file from Vodafone for 700pounds for a phone and ipad i had around 4 year ago, i got made redundant in the past usual irresponsible story on my part but the debt didnt get paid.

I am currently still trying too sort the matter and i am at a loss what further i can do. The debt was with a company fredriksson international i found a letter ages for them and i called them in january and they said the debt had gone back too Vodafone. I found an old phone bill and rang vodafone and they said the account was shut and they couldnt find it but it still shows on my credit file. Vodafone said they were gunna send me a letter saying it was closed but never did. I didnt hold faith in there egyptian call centre

Can anyone give any advice? The debt still shows on my credit file as in default

Shouldn't CCCS be dealing with this on your behalf or did you not mention it to them when setting the debt management plan?

its not factored into my debt management as we cant find whose handling it

the last contact i had with vodafone the offshore advisor said they would send me a letter and update my credit file as they couldnt find me and the account

the phone number i did have has being reassigned too a different customer

and the account number i did have find they couldnt find anything

Well if Vodafone can't find you on their systems then ask them to remove the item from your credit file.
They can't have it both ways.

there call centre are a pain the !!! excuse my french and there stores the same i did speak with customer advisor who said she would update my credit report but it looks like she did sweet fa

Write a letter and send by snail mail to their complaints team.

they are a nightmare too deal i notice theres a few vodafone posts on the forum
