Ditching BT, keeping number

Hi,
I have a bt line used for incoming calls only ( no broadband).
How can I ditch the line rental but divert any calls to another number. Is it possible?

BT do offer remote call forwarding, but not too cheap.

Best thing to do is port it to a VoIP provider who can forward to another number at more favourable rates.

You will still need to keep the line.

    No line, no telephone number

Ditch physical line and your number goes back in the pot for (eventual) re-use
