Best "huge" plant for position

I'd pick flowering quince to fit in somewhere if possible. The fragrant fruit variety. They really add a punch to apple jam. Magic stuff., far better than cydonia in terms of what they bring to the table, literally.Though some people may hate it I guess.

i know they are ridiculously overused especially in borders for new commercial builds etc, but i just love phormiums as a standalone feature especially the 'tricolour' variety, tenax is also probably the most common but 'yellow wave' is also another interesting one
