Reading you plans has made me feel hungry. My first published meal plan:

Tuesday - HM Soup & HM Bread
    Weds - Chicken Fajitas
Thurs - Out to dinner with friends!
Friday - Sausage, Mash & Beans
Saturday - HM Beef Casserole, Pomme Dauphinois
Sunday - Roast Gammon, HM Coleslaw, Salad and New Potatoes (possibly pudding I will have to think about this)
Monday - Ham (from Sunday), egg (from chooks) and saute potatoes

Now I just have to stick to it.

Feel a bit inspired to make HM lunches. Have not done that in years.

Well I have never meal planned in my life - its usually done on the day but will give this a go.

I don't eat meat neither does my baby boy but we do eat fish.

Hubby can't give up his meat for the world, all except chicken which he now can't eat as I have made him feel sick going on about the poor birds!! lol

I also have to think about lunches for me and my baby as we are at home during the day.

    Suppers:
Last night (mon): Home made tuna and salmon fishcakes and peas
Tonight (Tues): homemade pizza (one with veggies, the other with salami) and salad
Wed: Sausage (quorn & apple ones and meat ones for DH) and mash and onion gravy
Thurs: Roasted veg and harrisa mixed with cous cous, lamb chop for DH
Fri: Spaghetti with homemade pesto, and garlic bread
Sat: We are away for the weekend but intending on having a bbq (veggie kebabs and some meat) - weather permiting and maybe fish and chips by the sea!
Sun: no idea as yet - as we will still be away

    Lunches:
    Wed: Homemade vegetable soup leftovers
Thurs: cheese and cucumber wholemeal rolls
    Fri: Leftover cous cous
Sat: not sure as we will be away - something on the hop I guess
Sun: Have got lunch booked in a restaurant - so someone else can do the planning!!

Will also be cooking a shepherds pie and pot of chili for DH's suppers next week as I have some mince to use up and a heap of spuds - these will be frozen!

Weds - Chicken, chips, peas and beans
Thu - HM Meatballs, tom sauce, linguine
Fri - HM beef noodles (from Eat Yourself Thin)
Sat - HM Lahmacun (from Rick Stein's recent tv programme)

Always meal plan but thought would put on here for the first time

Tues (had SC Chicken, Pot & Tomatoe stew)
Wed - HM Toad in the Hole, Mash & Carrots - never made this before so keeping fingers crossed
    Thurs - Pork Stir fry
Fri - HM Beefburger & Chips or Wedges
Sat - HM Kebabs - another first, going to throw stuff together & hope for best
Sun - Roast Pork veg etc.
  • Heres ours, had to do a big shop because of being on hols and using as much as possible before we went. Bit of a hurried plan but deterimined to stick to it!

Mon - had takeaway, didn't get back from airport til late and couldn't be bothered cooking

Tues - chicken and bacon pasta, garlic bread

Wed - Sausage, mash, yorkshires, green beans, carrots and gravy

Thurs - Chilli con carne and rice

Fri - sweet and sour prawns and noodles

Sat - Chicken fahitas and potato wedges, salad

Sun - hoping to get a cheap joint of meat to do in slow cooker, with potatoes and veg

Me and DP aren't keen on puddings, DD has, fruit/yoghurt/cereal bar/banana and custard/ ice lolly etc

I love the meal plans thread! It inspires me :)

I will be away for a week so this is the meal plan I have left for DH and kids

    pizza(not HM:o )

    roast beef

    roast beef(leftovers)

    curry(not HM:o :p )

    cottage pie -HM from freezer

    fish and chips(frozen)

    lasagne - HM from freezer

edited to say I do usually cook a lot more from scratch but it needs to be simple for DH as he's no cook!
    Do what you love :happyhear
