Credit report - Does it show other people financials at same address?

Hi
Quick question. Santender offered to move some of my financial stuff to my dads' house. Just Bank account and mortgage, which I agreed to then thought of the possible implications!

My Dad does regular experian checks at his address.

Would my financial circumstances show up? IE my mortgage balance etc? Would it even be on his credit report at that address? It's very importnant nothing with my name comes up. There's no bad credit, just don't want him seeing my details etc.

No. It will not even show your name on his report unless you have linked financial accounts.

It seems that the CRA datasets are choc full of bogus financial associations, so it's worth checking that your ability to obtain credit, or that of your father, will not be compromised by wrong data being published by the CRAs.

OP, just to clarify, a credit profile isn't attached to an address or property, it is attached to an individual person. Unless you are somehow financially associated to your father, then your account details will not be reported against your father's profile just because of a shared address. So it is worth checking on your reports if there are any associations for whatever reason.
