This year we wanting to try using a Travel card for our holiday to Mexico, are there any recommendations.. We are going all inclusive so only planning on putting maybe £200 on it...If we wanted to put more money onto it while away is it possible to transfer from our online banking?
Thanks

I've already done some research I was wondering if anyone on here had any recommendations or even come up with any valid reasons they may not be a good idea.0

Is there any particular reason why you are only looking for pre-paid credit card if you could get a better deal with specialist zero fee for foreign transaction credit or debit card?? I understand you only need it for £200 but once you have got the credit or debit card you could keep it for any of your future trip

We are taking our debit and credit cards as back up but several times over the years we have had the hassle of our cards being locked because they have been locked by the bank due to use in a foreign country... This is after informing the banks we will be abroad, accumulating in expensive phone calls back to the UK. We were just trying to be prepared this time.0 -
Look at a Revolut Card

We've been using one for a few months now in Spain. Very easy to use, good rates and no problems so far.0 -

I'd 2nd this, no comission and you get interbank rates. It's a mastercard so accepted most places.0 -
Ignonring the interest-free period of purchases, I don't think that Revolut can be beaten by any debi/credit card. Aqua pays 0.5% cashback on purchases, but charges for ATMs.Is there any particular reason why you are only looking for pre-paid credit card if you could get a better deal with specialist zero fee for foreign transaction credit or debit card??0
