Can anyone tell me which currency is best used? Previous threads say Koruna but these posts are going back to 2005/2006.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The Czech Republic is still not in the Euro Zone, so you will need Koruna. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Never had a problem with Euros or Sterling , both are widely accepted but check the rate you are offered . Best bet is a Nationwide Credit, Debit or Cash card and use ATMs, select withdrawal in Korunas .

Why not dollars? They are just as foreign as euros, so you will pay just as much to buy them (with pounds) and then exchange them for local currency.
Personally, I would take cards from Nationwide and Post Office together with a wad of sterling bank notes. And ensure that my travel insurance covered the amount of cash I was taking.0
