Give iMac to charity?

So I have my sons 4 year old iMac, good spec all working fine except the screen is broken. Works fine with a monitor.
I would like to donate it to a charity, any ideas?

Make sure you don't give away any sensitive / confidential data.
Don't think a charity would want a broken one but there will be people who would want it for parts / repair. Could sell it on eBay then give the money to charity or give it away via freecycle?0 -
As long as you want to help, charity don't mind about the item. Its the thought that counts.0
