Should I close my account?

I have just paid of my Very account (online catalogue account). It had a balance of nearly £4000. I have cleared it all. I have been paying the minimum payment for quite a few years. Should I close the account? Or leave it with a zero balance and just not use it. I wasn't sure what was better for my credit rating.

Close it! Very are bad to deal with; being notorious for screwing people over by blacklisting them at the CRAs. See many previous threads on the subject.0 -
I second GingerBob's reply.
The APR on the account (unless you've cleared a BNPL plan in full before it expires) can be on par with some sub-prime credit cards! It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
