Price rise on Life? just had an email saying they are taking £6 in a few days time, when will it increase?

My battery and signal strength have been similar to Vodafone, no change here. Although i did have a drop of signal where Voda would normally be quite good.
Swings and roundabouts on signal strength maybe?

the price rise seems to be for new customers , I to have had a mthly email telling me money will come out of my account next week , a lot of the new tariffs do not correspond with the old ones , so there cannot be a rise unless they change your time/data allowance .

as they have become more popular they are refining their tarrifs

  • Yes, when the signal is low the phone will exert more effort to get better signal and for doing such it requires more power to execute.

    Just a thought.

Don't EE and Three share masts?

There's a three mast in the same place as the O2 masts.

So am wondering if they do share masts why my signal isn't as good as with o2 when the masts are in the same place.

It will use more power to emit a signal powerful enough to reach the mast. And it is doing this not only when you speak/text/browse.

I swapped from 3 to EE a few months back and I now often find it difficult to get a consistent data signal at work....4G especially is very hit n miss.
As a result my battery life has taken a hit.
I'll be ditching EE as soon as my contract is up

This is why my mobile stays in aeroplane mode when I'm at home. I rarely use my mobile for calls anyway (everyone calls my landline in the evenings) and most of my communications take place over whatsapp. I figure I may as well get my moneys worth out of my landline otherwise it just sits there solely for my broadband.
