    Today I:

    Bought a pack up in
    Am going to the shops after work with a list for food shopping that should come in under budget.
    Will have a pop around the other shops up there - on the look out for Christmas pressies ;)
    At home I've sold a video on Amazon so need to package that up.
    Really ought to make a cake for pack ups too.
    And I need to make a card for SILs 21st (:money: )

    - picked blackberries from my garden, will make into pie and / or jam
    - bought swim nappies on a good offer at makro, £1.25 for 11, usually £4.99, got 6 packs
    - did economy wash and dried outside
    - used washable nappies on baby

    My DFW things today were:

    * 2 x YouGov surveys - now at £33 total in my YouGov account....!

    * Sold an old mobile on EBAY - not for much though, pennies really :rolleyes: Printed out invoice at work though...I'm running out of paper at home and can't afford to buy any more at the moment!!!

    * PiggyComps & QuidCo searches

    * Will get washing dry on line

    * Got some bits & bobs from a discount warehouse that I needed: £4 total

    * Checked online banking & updated spreadsheet

    * Got a lift home from work

    * Took HM lunch to work

    * Got a £5 off cookware voucher for Sainsburys - very timely as our saucepans desperately need replacing!

    * Got a free magazine through the post

    * Listed a book on Amazon....just gotta hope it sells now!
    Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

    Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
  • Today I have/will:

    - done quidco clicks
    - off to do piggy clicks in a mo
    - got free lunch at work as it was another staff training day :j
    - took DS to my Mams house for a drink when he was thirsty and we were nearby instead of getting him a drink at the McDonalds drive in :D
    - dried clothes on airer
    - had a v low spend day :beer:

    Hi all,

    Today I have:
    - Got some stuff together to list on eBay on Thursday (10p listing day!!)
    - Called around my credit card providers that I have outstanding balances with so I can start to formulate a DFW plan
    - Cancelled my toothwhitening appointment at my dentists that would have cost £550 and bought some Crest Whitestrips Multicare from eBay instead for £20 :D
    - Started looking around this site again
    - Gor Martins moneysaving book out and had a good ol' look through it
    - Starting thinking about writing to my banks to claim back fees etc..
    - and finally, concentrated in my driving lesson today so I can finally pass and have done with that ongoing expense GGRR!!!
    We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
    Current aims - to start building up savings

    Today I have:
    - clicked at work!
    - charged up my phone at work
    - had a 'free' lunch as it was a training day
    - found 10p : 5p in the morning, 5p on the way to the Post Office
    - posted 2 e-bay parcels
    - had a store cupboard evening meal
    - 'earned' 100 nectar points on the survey
    I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • ~ Sorted through some paperwork and found a voucher for a free eye test + £50 off a pair of glasses

    ~ Planned/prepared most of my food for tomorrow

    ~ Posted agreement for new credit card back to HSBC

    ~ Used some of my Mum's stationery to post the book I sold on Amazon yesterday (she's self-employed & gets it cheap)
    Current Debts:
    Abbey Loan = £10491.60 (now £9267.58)
    Egg CC = limit £750, owe £559.57
    Capital One = limit £800, owe £639.49
    Overdraft = £700
    Evans store card cleared Aug '07
    Change Jar Challenge (£150) - 5.07 so far
