ParcelForce 'too busy' to Deliver!!!!

Here is the message I sent to the Parcelforce client, my plans for the weekend are destroyed:


Hello, Parcelforce failed to make this delivery on Sat 2st April as promised. Their tracking system showed that the delivery driver failed to find the premises. The address as given was correct as was the post code, SAT NAV takes you to my driveway. I contacted their local depot (Ipswich) and was told the manager would call me back in order to rearrange delivery on Sunday. He failed to do so. According to the Ipswich depot Parcelforce do not give the driver my phone number, a mobile phone or SAT NAV, so it is not clear how they expect a driver to find an address or a customer. Possibly the driver couldn’t be bothered, who knows. I have wasted half a Saturday waiting for delivery and 1 1/2 hours on the phone trying to arrange for redeliver tomorrow (Sunday) as I need the tool for the weekend.

I have now cancelled this order and it is being resent for delivery tomorrow (by Parcelforce !#*?), we can but hope.

The reason I ordered this item from Screwfix in the first place was next day delivery on a Saturday. Failure of your courier to live up to your promises damages your business.
