Car Sales data. What does Drive field with D and G values mean?

Hi,

I have some data in a file about cars and in there there is a Drive column.

For each car it says D or G in the Drive field. Any idea what D and G means in words?

    Diesel, or Gasoline?

    I'm guessing Diesel or Gasoline.

    Where did this data originate?

    The US uses the term "gasoline" instead of petrol, but diesel is very rare over there.

    Might the data have originated from France, and it be referring to right- (Droite) or left (Gauche)-hand drive?

    What is this data?

    Don't they refer to petrol as Gasoline in some parts of Mainland Europe?

    No. Gazole is diesel. Benzin or Essence would be petrol
