Scam, or genuine email from Nationwide?

From Nationwide's Internet Banking Security advice:
I've received this email, which claims to have been sent by Nationwide:

My Post Code isn't mentioned, it's not sent from either of the email addresses mentioned and it looks pretty shoddy.
However, the V.me service is being closed on 30th March, the email doesn't solicit information from me or contain any nasties. The one URL in it really does point to the FCA.
I'm pretty sure it's genuine, but it flouts Nationwide's own security advice.
We do all we can to keep you safe online but there's also plenty you can do to help protect yourself.

The only reason I think it is genuine is that it does not ask you to click a link to sign on to your internet banking.
There is no phising attempt here.0 -
Got the same, it's genuine. To be honest never found anyone to take it anyway. No loss but short notice.

I'm surprised that Nationwide would send that to your email address rather than via Secure Messaging. The evidence does suggest that it is genuine so it might be worth a few minutes complaining that they haven't followed their own rules, you might get a few quid out of it.0
