Arrow Global on Experian report

Hi, I just checked my credit report the other day and it appears that my credit score has suddenly dropped to 'poor' as a company called Arrow Global is showing a £160 default. I'm pretty sure this is a phone bill I defaulted on back in 2011, but a similar collection agency chased me up and I paid the amount. Unfortunately, I don't have any record of the payment.
Here's my question: I have not received any written communication from Arrow as I have moved twice in the past year. The only way I know about the default is from my credit report. Should I call Arrow and query this, thus risking giving them my details and have them chase me harder, or should I just leave it alone until they find me? I already have a mortgage so not concerned about that. Thanks in advance for advice!

Hi Megomm, welcome to MSE.
If you ignore this there is a risk they will continue to enforce it in the county court. Because court papers only need to be sent to your last known UK address there is a chance you will miss them - so the next you would know about it could be a CCJ on your credit file (or worse - county court enforcement). It will then cost you money to challenge it at court.
You could email Arrow Global to file a dispute and explain that you believe the debt has been paid and that they have registered a default incorrectly. When did the other debt collector chase you? Perhaps you have a bank statement verifying the payment made?

I would be astonished if they went to court over £160, but neither is the risk zero.
If this had now appeared on your credit report it is very likely Arrow have or will link it to your new address, and now know of it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thank you all for your advice. I have just checked my credit report again and it now lists the balance as £0, so I think this reflects that I have paid it off. But it was only added to my account in February, and I had actually paid it in 2011 - it never showed on my report until now! Furthermore, I secured a mortgage back in November, so I'm flummoxed as to why this didn't come up before. Any suggestions? Is there anything I need to do or do I just accept it and leave it there?
It also says I'm not on the electoral role at my current address, which I know I am. Starting to wonder why I pay the monthly Experian fee...0
