Fathers details on my credit file.

How can I stop my fathers credit information appearing on my file?
We have the same first and last name though I use a middle name on all credit bearing accounts etc. We have different DOBs and live in different towns.
I constantly seem to be clearing up my credit file every few months, I get things of his removed and then a few months later there they are again.
As an example I had a linked address appear on my file a place I have never had a connection too, didn't even know who lived there and not even in the same city as where I live. I got it removed and it's showing again. I found out that the address is a friend of my fathers. My dad was sending his documents there as a c/o address when he was between premises.
Another example electoral roll my entry is there but so is my fathers and my fathers entries from the early 90's. I didn't even turn 18 until the 2000's.
One of my fathers credit accounts is also showing.
Anyone shed any light on this and how I can stop it? My father and I have not shared the same address in over 12 years. Neither of us can work out how his details are finding their way on to my file.

Your clearing your file up, but is he clearing his file?
Guessing that your address etc is still attached to his file? So when they go searching up pops your address?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The problem here is that the CRAs don't know anything about quality control and effective data processing, which is a shame really, since they are the self-appointed custodians of our financial histories. They are also out of control when it comes to linked addresses and financial associations. The ineffective ICO has given them carte blanche to do what they want in these respects. So we have them data mining external sources for any addresses that you may have had only the most tenuous links with, and once a financial association is created it is never deleted.
These points are some of the reasons why data about you and your father is getting mixed up. Complain to the ICO. They are a bunch shirkers, but it's about all you can do, save for speaking to your MP about the more general issue of the CRA industry being in dire need of proper regulation.0
