BRS->NYC return Aer Lingus
principlecounts
Posts: 312 Forumite
I'm planning on flying with Aer Lingus from Bristol Airport to New York (via. Dublin) for a one week trip in August. Total flight for 2 should be around £1450.
Purchase via.
Quidco - 2% (£29)
Amex - 1.25% (£18.12)
£47.12 saving. Can anyone beat this?

Slight risk here.
There was a BA business class sale end of April beginning of my last year.
IIRC the cost of flights from Dublin to NYC was c€900 each in the posh seats. I'd wait until then.0 -
That seems very expensive just for flights? What are your dates?0

heres a thought for you
BRS - DUB £42 07:50 dep 08:50 arr Rynair
DUB- NYC £554 each return dep 10:50 arr 13:20
other flight options are available and you'd need to consider luggage costs and your view of timing risks etc.
its cheaper than your original price, but you'd need to do your own CBA.
if you're able to put your trip off until the end of Aug, you can easily trim another £150 off per person.0 -

Thank you for the additional information. I had thought about separate flights, but I think the luggage might be an issue from BRS to DUB. Plus there is the issue of connecting flights, seems more reassuring if completed under one airline.
Yes, unfortunately, I can't change the dates, I need to attend a wedding. It must be an auspicious week :AStudent loan: Cleared.0
