When did you receive this statement? Did you send a correct reading in when you got your statement on the 27th of June because that was an estimated reading?
  • The figures above are all from my bill on the 27th of june .....i havent sent in a reading for ages ..... today was the first time in about a year probably

Chances are that the reading on your last statement, in June, was way out (ie overestimated). If you didn't do a reading back then, i'm not sure how you'd manage to check it now.

We get our meter read every 6 months, with an estimated reading inbetween (although I think it's changing to once a year soon. We can phone in with our own readings whenever we get an estimated bill/statement though). When last did you have a proper reading?

You don't say where you live - regional prices vary - but those prices are the highest I have ever seen 15.03p/11.11p/kWh before VAT

You can do much better than that. NPowers on-line account tariff is much better than their standard tariff.

Obviously your meter readings in March and June were over-estimates and probably will account for your debit balance.
