Standing orders

I've recently cancelled my daughters swimming lessons along with the standing order, only to be told that unless we notified the local swimming baths by the 15th of the month (it was the 16th) we'd be charged for the following month too. Will this affect my credit rating?

  • Only if they inform the CRA's - highly unlikely IMO but to be on the safe side why not ask them if they want the missing payment.

I have asked. She said they are likely to just keep it on my record in case I ever want to restart a new membership. Just didn't want to ruin my credit rating for the sake of £22. Thanks.
