Private Banking - Lloyds or NatWest

Purely Hypothetical Question, but in terms of 'Poshness' and for those that like to show off which Private Bank out of Lloyds or NatWest is better ?.
I think Lloyds as although both NatWest and Lloyds private banking cards are Black, the Lloyds one says Private Banking on it, NatWest just says Black. Lloyds also seems more old Fashioned and perhaps more exclusive ?.
Just Wondering you understand.

I beg to differ on the Natwest card. Mine most definitely has the word 'Private' on it. But then I've never felt the need to spend money on their black account.
Guess that goes to show that paying a monthly fee alone doesn't get you a posh card with them0 -
Hypothetically you need to be invited for private banking if that is all that is important to you - you won't qualify.0

If you're purely going for "snob factor", why not get a normal current account with Child through RBS.CO.UK?0

If you have 5k to spare, you can open a Cater Allen account.0

Are people really impressed by who people bank with ? I've had cause to speak to several people who have "private" banking, they were all bankrupt. It's all a bit silly IMO.0

i would go for Lloyds of the two. but Cater Allen is a good shout if you want something really different.0

There is also the Barclays Premier Banking, good overdraft rate and high cash withdrawal limit and perks like free daily coffee at Pat Val! Investec is another to consider.0

I have seen people wave their cards in the air, so I think they want to impress people.
And of course if you see people do this, and notice the card, you say to yourself, "he/she must have money."
I have a "private" bank card, but I never really use it, unless there is some snob behind the till who looks down on me, then I get it out to watch the shock on their face.:D0
