It appears to be full recovery - although limited to 6 call outs - if paying after this six, then plan for £75 Call out then £2.60 per nile plus vat average in industry.
It only covers one person in one car - so if partner breaks down, tough. If you are in a friends car and they break down then tough - other clubs will cover any vehicle you are in.
It is also auto-renew, so make sure you cancel 8 weeks before end - or you will pay a MUCH higher price (how they make these offers pay as most forget the auto renew- same as auto renew car insurance)
Compare it to others like ADAC, AA, RAC, MONDIAL,GREENFLAG,etc and you may find an extra £40 is worth it for peace of mind of any situation you are in being covered including friends and family etc, and lack of hidden extras.
I did have car insurance with 2gether once and they were exceptionally helpful UNTIL i changed insurers when they became abusive, withheld my NCB etc and were really quite nasty! Put me off them for life!0 -
I bought this policy without noticing this part of the Groupon small print:
"Must be 17 years or older. Covers one individual per policy; One car per policy."
I couldn't find any reference to covering just one individual in the policy document so I called 2gether. They told me that their policies, even through Groupon, cover the car and not the individual so anyone driving it is covered. I've asked for this in writing!0 -
Seems cheap, some good reviews too - it's not terribly comprehensive, but for £20 it can't be a bad gamble.
Just check that your insurer doesn't give similar cover as part of your car insurance policy as standard.0 -
So far, so useless. I did not get confirmation in writing following that phone call. I have tried contacting them by email too and still nothing!0
