Morning from a bright and sunny Kent.

Pottering about in garden whilst waiting for DH to return from cycle ride, then going out for a walk in Ramsgate.

Dinner provided for us tonight by walk companions.

Meal plan done for next few days and shopping list started.

So good to see seedlings doing well in the greenhouse

Thinking of Gers and her family

    Afternoon all,

Not long got back from visiting Mom. She was at deaths door on Friday... even hubby felt sorry for her (so she must have looked ill) but today i find her sitting up in bed eating and drinking and interested in everything around her including reading a newspaper!

    From Friday

    To today

I think i would be safe to say she is fine when she is being hand fed/watered but when she is well enough to do it herself she doesnt make the effort.

Ive told her i am going away next Tuesday (my birthday) and not sure when i'll be back. If it was up to hubby we would go there and stay there for the summer but ive told him i wont go because of Mom and having my Grandson on Thursdays which has annoyed him greatly. At work he's told them they will see him when they see him (he's self employed so comes and goes as he pleases largely) but i'm thinking i ought to be back for my Grandson on the following Thursday.

I said my final goodbyes to Amy at the residential home she starts maternity leave tomorrow. She's expecting identical twin girls. I doubt if Mother will be still be with us when she returns... but i wouldnt like to put a bet on it.:D

Not a lot to do this afternoon. I'll go with the flow but Gers i am thinking of you and your family.:rotfl:

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

  • Good Afternoon everyone, it's been a nice sunny day here and nicely warm outside which made the afternoon walk very pleasant. My heart is very heavy for the people of Belgium after the atrocities this morning, I'll never be able to understand how mankind can be so barbaric to mankind as to deliberately do things like bombs, it's more than wicked, more than evil, more than cowardly. Surely life is more important than proving a point no matter how deeply that point is felt? Taking innocent lives can only be a sin and an unforgiveable one, it can never be made right by a religious or political explanation or doctrine, no one has the right to take lives whichever side, political party or religious group they belong to it's still WRONG!

    Good evening everyone,

    hugs to everyone.

Its been a lovely sunny day here in Kent, and all my washing I hung out this morning has dried.

Went to work today, just tomorrow to go then I am off for the Easter weekend.:j

DS and DD have had friends over tonight, so I made a large quorn cottage pie for dinner.

Not much else to say apart from I am saddened by the news from Brussels.

I hope everyone has a good evening. x

    Evening everyone

I too was very saddened by the news from Brussels, may
they RIP, thinking of their families and friends.

Had a good day went on a course to learn how to do felting. It was really well run and informative. I learnt so much.

OS today dw unloaded & reloaded tonight. Vacuumed all downstairs.
    Kitchen cleaned.

A bit fed up this evening as ds2 in grumpy mood, argumentative during dinner. Then dh was saying something to him but going over same point again and again which made things worse. I'm not sure who's the child sometimes. Rant over - we have had words.

Gers - thinking of you and your family.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
