Hire car age limit

I own and drive cars in UK and Singapore as we split our time between the two places.
There is an age limit for hiring cars in Singapore of 65.
When we are over in the UK we holiday in Europe every year and always hire a car there.
No problem so far.
But I'm coming up to 68 and wondered if there are any age limits in France and Spain to hiring a car.

I just tried that link and then phoned Hertz Singapore and they tell me the upper age limit is 60 even accounting for that Saga info link.It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0
