What date does the other people want ?id agree that 1 April is very unlikely unless they are desperate for that especially as searches haven't even come back yet. Have you signed the papers ready for exchange yet? Money is not yet paid over I assume ,, that will take time? Plus as said bank holidays slowing down solicitors, banks and mortgage co.

I think the odds of the date in post 8 are higher than 1 April. . Hopefully you have alternative accommodation and storage for a few weeks arranged ?

You should never end your tenancy until after exchange at the latest as things can take longer. Only then will you have a completion date


I made this mistake but luckily I had planned ahead.


I'm afraid you have made a big mistake and you will need to stay in temporary accommodation. Probably another few weeks
