Morning everyone,
Dry but overcast and cloudy here, let's hope the sun comes out for a while.
Day off today, sorted out some clothes yesterday that haven't worn for the last two winters and will take these into town today to be recycled via the CS. Will try to resist bringing out anything again with meam currently saving hard for new curtains for the lounge, with four windows it is unlikely will find any secondhand.
Am off to see my SIL and two nieces later, wll take the girls Easter Eggs as not sure will see next weekend. It's a bittersweet day for us all as its 6 years today since my darling eldest brother Nick died from a brain tumour, he was 48. So am sure we will be sharing our happy memories and just enjoy being together.
Hope everyone has a good day, Happy Ostara to you all, wishing you a joyful Spring x0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm feeling a bit pants because the sore throat I've had for over a week seems to have developed into a chest thing now.
Yesterday was very quiet, DD had to write an article she'd been struggling with so she shut herself away. Leg of lamb roast for dinner, it was delicious, one of the best I've made and topped off with everyone's favourite, rhubarb crumble.
I've finally got to grips with posting photos on instagram so if anyone would like a look at my latest quilting projects I am on there as sue_sandy

Morning ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) if you need one. Think about Gers and her journey half way round the world.
Its a dull morning, I have laundry to go out, so it need not bother to rain until the laundry is dry and I can fetch it in.
Semi Monday clean to do so should not take long, the bathroom and toilet floors were done with the stamer on saturday, I changed our bed yesterday, so not a lot to do really.
OH is going out to the garden.
When I have finished the cleaning I am going to take to bits the arch that will not join up, putting it back in its box and taking it back next week along with the photos of the two bits that do not fit on my Ipad.
More sewing planned for later, not sure what's for supper will have to look at the list on the door.0 -
Morning
Not much to report from yesterday. Today's plan of action, once the Mr T delivery has been is to pop the bag on kondoed items to the CS.
Need to phone work and resume for weds. Not looking forward to going back and apart from an annoying cough feel much better.
Need to do a bit of "flying" today so will be jumping on that thread and will be kondoing the rest of my clothes. So busy busy really. Need to also check the meal plan for this week as can't remember what I've put down and fill in my diary.

Lainey - my sympathies are with you too - keep those happy memories close and enjoy them.
Got my visa through, got some currency and almost ready to go, only need a date. I spoke to the youngest nephew who seems to think it may be late next week but he's not got a basis for that. I'm itching to get the flights booked, luckily it's winter in Oz which means some warm and pleasant weather.
I'm off to try the new steam mop on the bathroom floor and clear out more clutter. Think it's distraction therapy!0 -
Good afternoon chums and <<hugs >> to Gers and Lainey.
Been a busy bee today I was at the local shopping mall in Hempstead Valley by 08.30 a.m. this morning as I wanted to get a couple of things 'freebies ' from Sainsbobs, as DD gave me a couple of vouchers and they ran out tomorrow. So I got 6x1 litre cartons of UHT milk and a kilo of tropical granola for nothing:) win-win.
I then went to M&S and paid my c/card,for some reason the online banking bit had techie problems. Then I went to the library and returned my books and went for my Healthy Living walk with the walking group.Had a free cup of coffee when that was donelibrary provides it
Home for lunch, then went to the bank to sort out some different accounts which give me a better return Had another free cuppa there from the delightful financial adviserthen back home to my house where I had a free cereal bar through the post for some reason Today is definitely a good day for freebies
:):)
Now at DD's awaiting the DGS coming in from school. Nice to sit down and put my feet for five minutes
Weather at least is dry and that nasty wind seems to have dropped a bit.
Hope everyone has had a good Monday.Tomorrow I am taking DGS Ben to the cinema and we are going to see 'Spotlight'
Cheers chums

Evening everyone
Been working most of the day, then dh cooked dinner and I cleaned up the mess! Ds2 back to his stressy self, think they are putting the pressure on at school again re exams.
I've managed to find a placement in relation to my college course and start after Easter. Really pleased.
Gers & Lainey thinking of you both. My dad was 38 when he died, he was being treated for indigestion but suffered a heart attack. I am now 11 years older than he was. I still think of him quite often.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.0
