Do any of the folk here know a good place to get decent quality brown parcel tape from.
I've previously just bought from Home Bargains, which is 59p for their 40m tape .. .decent enough I think.
I looked on eBay a few weeks ago and managed to get 6 longer rolls for a very decent price, but Ifound them pretty poor. There adhesion was so poor the weight of the roll would actually unwind the tape, if left dangling.
Where do the ebayers here buy their tape from ?
Thank you!

Look up Vibac tape.
I used to use it after trying many other brands, I think it is hot melt tape and sticks and sticks and sticks!
Isn't the cheapest though.0 -
Hey fishybusiness, if you are in fact in a fishy business, you might want to have a glance at this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5426938Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. No, I used to sell refurb vacuums and steam cleaners.

OK, no worries. My comment on topic with this thread is ; when you start to look for cheap items and quality, then you realise just how rubbish eBay is. It is the case where the extreme forces of competition have not helped consumers because in order to sell any widgets on eBay as a business, you need to be the cheapest or pretty close to the cheapest. I can give you numerous examples of false economy of buying cheap on eBay and in most cases where you need the item in larger quantity I would recommend you don't look on eBay at all.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Agree, though as a consumer I love eBay, last night I bought 50 or so stainless steel bolts for not much money, it would cost me time, fuel and parking to buy locally. It is convenient.
Just need to do your homework......0 -
Tape is odd really. I've had an expensive industrial one that was useless for me and cheap ones that were similarly so. I use a 40m cheap one now that does the trick. A couple of wholesalers I buy from sell it to retailers so I pay about 25-30p.
The best deals on Amazon and EBay will be on 72 rolls plus just because the shipping price will be less..0 -
Buy niceday in cases from Viking, it's often on offer."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

The Range packing tape (grey rolls) is the best value. Good length and girth. Can't argue with that!0
