We've had a slight change of plans in the form of new sofas :j very excited for the new sofas as they are much needed but I didn't want them to go on finance so we need to pay them off before we can get them delivered. So my new goal for this challenge is £ 1704.61

So far we have paid off £563.79

    So in summaryh £563.79/£1704.61 = 33% complete.

Could you update my new total please Amara?
    Total Debt - £30,814.90 at 12/2/2016
    Total Paid £993.24 = 3.22% at 29/04/2016
2 debts of 20 paid off
  • I'm back like a bad penny !

I've had a mixed time since I last posted; hubby hasn't been able to pay son (he works for hubby) for a couple of reasons so I told son to wait until he had got paid so money that I was putting towards the debt (£105 I've saved from clearing other debts & £65 I got from quidco) has gone to pay the electric dd - mind you he got paid today so there's no excuse now really.

I've managed to pay £50 and have just withdrawn £150 cashback which I should receive in a couple of days so I'm declaring £200 making my total £390.

    LPMS: update done :)
Gettintheresometime, that feels awful, when you can't pay ,, specially close people :( I'm glad is resolved now.
Very first payment from me, £50. My DH bought a car for himself, perhaps you remember I just acquired car for myself recently. So two car bought , huge pressure for our finances. And yes, we both need car, we can't downsize to just one, as no car means no job for us.
    Lovely weather at last.

Thanks Amara...and rent has been paid! Son isn't a bad lad really though he does drive me up the wall sometimes.

I know what you mean about needing 2 cars solid look at the expense as a necessity rather than a luxury..and yes the lovely weather does make a difference.

    I've got £30 to add to my total - I finally saved £10 in 20ps and £20 in £2!

    Totally now £420
