[FONT="]Hello, i have a fair/poor credit rating, I am looking for a loan for a car around £3000 to £4000 I have applied for loans online but all i seem to be offered are high interest loans of 40 - 60%. Is there any company out there who offer lower interest rates than this? Or would I be better getting the loan on credit cards????

Swallow your pride and get a car for under £1k, there's plenty good cars out there in this price bracket. Don't worry about what the neighbours and family think. No interest rates at all if you can pay straight up. You can work towards better managing of your finances to rebuild your credit rating in the mean time, without yet another loan holding you back. When you have a better credit rating you'll also be paying a few £k less back in interest, if you decide to get a nicer car. Best of luck with whichever path you choose/find0

Agreed! A lower budget, even if you do get an older model, there are plenty of good cheap motors around, without driving a banger!
Even if you do resort to paying on plastic, it'll be less interest, so MUCH cheaper, for the time being!
