5 day old car - problem!

Hi all,
I collected a new 2016 Seat Ibiza 5 days ago which I have taken out on a PCP plan. I chose a 3 door because I rarely have people in the car - however I have just gone to pull the drivers seat forward to put shopping on the back seat and cannot find a lever/button anywhere to tilt it forward. Checked the passenger seat and there is a fully working lever mechanism on that side. On closer inspection it appears the drivers seat lever has snapped and there is no way for me to tilt the seat forward. I have called Seat who have told me they will ring me back next week when they have spoken to the Servicing department, however I am concerned that I will be charged for this to be repaired. After all, I never noticed this when I collected the car (and hadn't noticed it for the past 5 days until I went to use it today) Are these sort of things covered under warranty? I feel like I will be blamed for breaking it.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I've never had a new car or anything on finance before and I am completely clueless to what is covered.

This will be a standard warranty item. Even if you broke it, it is still not fit for purpose.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Has the release snapped? Or did the factory drop one, and put a 5dr front seat on that side?0
