Radiator power flush

Options
Hi All,

Got our boiler serviced recently which was installed ~2y ago before we bought this house.
All radiators look like they are new, at least some of the plumbing pipes are also new so I did not consider fitting any magnetic filters just yet.

The water in the system look pretty bad and the plumber recommended we do a power flush as either it wasn't done when the installation was done or some pipes have had enough left in them that it circulated round the system and settled in the rads.

My question is than, how much a typical power flush on 6 radiator house should cost (7 if you count the bathroom wall one)?

I've seen costs coming up to £400 for something like this. Sounds pretty expensive for someone to come in, run their kit for few hours and top up the system with some inhibitor etc..

I'm in West Sussex near Crawley.

Cheers!
