New to Comping!

Hi guys as you can probably tell I am very new to this forum, so new in fact this is my first post! I am going to try and pay of my mounting debts and become debt free (if thats possible) when I noticed this 'comping' thingy...
Im guessing everyone here enters as many competitions as they can and reports back when they win?! I have noticed some big wins - WELL DONE!
It left me thinking how and where do you find competitions, the only ones I have ever entered seemed only to want my personal details and the only thing I have ever won was a bigger junk mail pile!
Amy hints/tips would be great! Thank you.

I think most people on here have an email addy just for comps, I know I do. A lot of the sites do want you sign up but to be honest I dont get a lot of junk mail and most of the sites are pretty interesting. I have found out about stuff that I wouldnt have known about if it wasnt for being on here and entering the comps.
Its a friendly forum, very addictive, you now wont have a life :rotfl:
Welcome and happy comping
What we see depends mainly on what we look for

Hi, welcome to the comping section on here. Its great - and addictive!
I enter as many comps as I can, the more you enter the more chances of winning!
I just enter comps of this website and any others I come across but I find there are enough on here to keep me going!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Welcoming to the comping board.
You'll find enough competitions here without searching anywhere else. Most of us struggle to get them all entered.
Most of us definitely keep an email address for comps, but saying that, reputable sites don't send spam. The comps posted on this board steer clear of the sites that do that.
Once you start comping, you'll find that it is addictive - but it hopefully earns you money and prizes and doesn't cost you anything but your time!42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -

...... It left me thinking how and where do you find competitions.....

Hi Morgan,
The comps we enter are one forum up (in Competitions Time), this forum is just where we report our wins & also thank the poster of the comp
It is a really good idea to get yourself a form-filler tool so you don't have to keep typing in your name & address. Which one you pick may be decided by which internet browser you are using, a lot on here use Roboform & quite a few of us Firefox users have AutoFill.
A really good place to start is the Competition Time sticky thread at the top called "Comp Tips - New Thread Help Needed", just click on that title as I hope I've made it a clicky link which should take you straight there
It is a couple of pages long but do read it as whenever we have all come up with hints & tips they are posted on that thread to help out people just starting off. You'll also find more info about the form fillers we use, with URLs!
Hope that helps
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
