Help To Buy ISA

Hi

I am buying a 50% share of a £330,000 flat so i will be paying £165,000. I have a help to buy ISA and was wondering as I am paying just £165,000 and the flat is in epsom would i be able to use the ISA? or will i not as Epsom is not in the London area and the flat is worth more than £250,000?

Thank You
Joe Read

The limit is based on the total value of the property, so unless you are prepared to wait for the lifetime ISA, you'll not get any Government top-up when purchasing a property worth £330k outside of London.
