Thanks to all. Im a middle aged lady so insurance isnt a worry. I want cruise control because we are 50mph on our motorway for the next few years due to roadworks and the M90 has speed cameras along its length.
Went to see Fiestas today and didnt feel any love, the Mazda m2 due to 0% finance but the finish was awfy cheap plastic for spending that kind of money. Then went to see the Clio and aesthetically I was sold. Can get all the bells and whistles except heated windscreen.
Now just deciding as to buy a pre reg at 10-11K or new with 0% hp finance 15k.
Sensible head says stalk the internet for a pre reg with all the bits I want. Heart says go for new car, you are worth it!0 -
Before you buy a clio, check out the ds3 range, by citroën. I went from a clio to a ds3 and absolutely love it. It's sporty, a nice drive, brilliant interior, with cruise control, speed limiter, Bluetooth, dab, parking sensors, heated mirrors (not front windscreen), aux and USB port. The diesel ds3, which was my first, I got 57.5 mpg consistently, £0 tax unsurprisingly. I've recently bought the new 1.2 petrol pure tech version and get about 47mpg, with only £20 tax. Thanks to all.
