  • Just for clarity, in Scotland all houses already have a survey, in the form of a home report. Also, we DID specify a very quick process, to which they agreed.
  • Maybe you just have a slightly unrealistic idea of what "quick" means. Some of the threads on here should give you an idea of what normal timescales are like. If your property was only on the market for a week then it sounds like things are already going very quickly. So relax. :)

    Did you provide them with a deadline to complete any of the buying processes? Quick for you maybe a few days, but your buyers may interpret is as a few weeks....
