                    hi,
I have been rejected for JSA contribution based because I havnt paid enough tax years that ended on april 14 and april 15. I was surprised to get this result as ive already signed on 2 times this tax year and had no problem qualifying. How can this have changed?

The tax years used will have changed in January. Were your previous claims before this? Are the claims linked (how far between claims)?0
 -
hi tom, my previous claim was made before Christmas yes.
The claims are around 14 weeks apart so should be classed as linked I think0 -
The linking period is twelve weeks, so you're outside that also.
Are you not entitled to income based JSA?0 -
I will not be entitled to income based due to savings
so basically the new tax years started In January?
is there anyway to check how much stamp you've paid over those two years? is that how its worked out, total ni paid over them 2 years?0 -
No it's got to be enough paid in each of the qualifying years, not an average.0

You only get 6 months CB JSA; maybe you've used this up?0
