Yumove v Vetzyme

I buy Yumove for my collie, and it works really well, however there's sometimes a smell comes from her, and it's the tablets. I recently saw on Amazon a different one called Vetzyme.
Has anyone tried both, and could compare them? Is one better than the other?

With the price of them I'd be surprised if the ingredients were anywhere near the quality of Yumove.
Vetzyme ingredients:
Encapsulated Fish Oil, Glucosamine Sulphate Skc1, Dried Brewers Yeast, Chondroitin Sulphate Prep, Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Methyl Sulphonyl Methane Prep (Msm), Silicon Dioxide, Chicken Flavour, Magnesium Stearate, Green Lipped Mussel Prep, Smoke Flavour, Vitamin E (Dl Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate) Prep, Thiamin Hydrochloride, Calcium Pantothenate, Nicotinic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin.
Yumove ingredients:
Glucosamine HCl
250mg Green Lipped Mussel Powder
150mg Hyaluronic Acid
1.5mg Manganese
3mg Vitamin C
12.5mg Vitamin E
Liver powder
Di Calcium Posphate
Silicon Dioxide
Manganese Ascorbate
We use Youmove for our dog and it's been great though I'm afraid I can't offer a comparison. I'm interested to hear about the smell though as someone who also gives it to their dog?0 -
The smell is the green lipped mussel, I believe. I can smell it on her sometimes.0

I use Synflex - can't recommend it highly enough. Got my old arthritic boy (collie) completely off meds. And a young dog (not mine, but I know the owner well) with severe joint problems who the vet couldn't help and recommended putting the dog down - within a few weeks it was walking again, and now, three years later, it is running around the park. And I use it myself too! It'll be going on my young boys menu soon too.0

It's a completely different supplement to GLM, but have you heard about turmeric as a natural anti-inflammatory? I started my girl on it last year for her arthritis and she's doing great. I've even taking it myself for a hip problem I've been having this year!
Some users do report a smell on the dog when using turmeric but it seems to be associated with larger doses. My 32kg dog is on 4 doses of 1/4 teaspoon a day, which controls her symptoms, and I've noticed no smell. If your dog is sensitive to it and develops a smell, you can add Ceylon cinnamon (not normal baking cinnamon from the supermarket) which stops the issue apparently.
By the way, if you continue with the Yumove, check out Fetch's online shop - it's listed at the same price as Amazon but there are multiple 10/15/20% off codes around at the mo on your first order, bringing it down a bit cheaper (as long as you meet the free delivery amount - about £29 I think)0 -

I have heard this also, but never seen it in practice, so your recommendation is useful. Certainly, there is a body of evidence to suggest it can help in joint problems.0
