Praise for TSOHOST, UK-based internet hosting

I know we usually dread dealing with tier 1 tech support, but I've always been impressed with Tsohost. I think the tier 1 is handled from India, usually Indian names (nice they don't pretend to be 'Oswald' or 'Kenilworth' or some of the other faux-English names). Often it's a female engineer, so good for equality. Always helpful. Not just reading a script but you deal with real technicians straight away - if you can frame a technical question/request, they respond technically too. Honest if you hit a bug that there is a bug instead of trying to blag or blame the user.
I have more than one hosting account, each has more than one domain attached, and don't often need tech support, but when I do, I'm pleased to say it's responsive and effective. It's like going straight through to tier 2. So refreshing.
If anyone is looking for hosting from £notalot, you could do worse. It's when you see the true colours of a business. If anyone is looking, there are affiliate discount codes for a search on 'tsohost' on the referrers board, but frankly I pay full price without issue. It's just been pleasant tonight that someone listened, understood, offered potential solutions, and when I asked for different help they gleefully are happy to do it overnight whilst I'm chilling, so I can get back at it tomorrow. Impressive.

Not like Sky or TT or even Ebay for that matter.
I use 50 webs where i can host 10 domains for one price and unlimited sub domains i think?
But Sky claimed the users equipment was faulty even though they had no issues prior to switching, i got their tech that said test the master socket etc. I didnt i had a cuppa and phone them back pretending i had tested it, Then got someone who could actually see the fault and them dropping the connection and he sorted it.
TT scrambled an AOL users passwords for receiving an email and when they said their internet was down instead of saying we scrambled your password they were told the modem was faulty..
Took forever to get someone that knew they actually owned AOL, kept telling me to phone the other number, phone them and they said phone the other one again. One even told me to ring the number i had just dialled.
And the reason for the scrambled password? The user had received an infected email. Not sent it but received it, they never opened it or gave it a 2nd look straight in the bin, deleted.
And ebay, oh my ..... Serious thread drift....

Ridiculous prices! Basic VPS from £39.99 a month, you think that is good value??"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0

What's your objection UP? Take it you've had bad experiences where I've had good? Price-wise, horses for courses I guess. When I want big crunching power I'll get some EC2 instances spun up ;-)0
