I recently booked a weekend away during school holidays. By the time I had paid the extras I had paid the same price as if I'd booked the weekend directly with the Park which give you the extras for free. When I called The Sun to let them know I was told that lots of families enjoy the Sun Holidays and find it a cheap holiday if you're on a budget....the usual generic response to any complaint you make in the UK!! Very disappointed!

I received my email with my priority code and bonus token this morning.
They're reverting back to the codewords again this promotion.
I've edited the dates available and the bonus codeword into the first post in this thread

Gutted, this year as our Director of Education changed the end/return to school in summer so with these dates wont be able to take holiday abroad as previously done. Dates don't work out, was hoping for Monday 22nd to be available as well boo hoo.

hi Essesboy - what do you mean ^^^^ I was presuming that this time around there was not much hope for priority bookers (for uk hols at least) as most people would get in with sun perks first...

what is your sense of the situation this time around?

Originally I had expected them to use Sun Perks codes for everyone as they did the last extra promotion.
If they had done that Perks would have taken everything as Priority would have had to wait till the Friday morning at whatever time the paper is on sale in there area.

Luckily they haven't which means it's a race between the priority and the perks members who both stay up late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
I have both so I'll book with whoever gets in first.
Depends on what time we get Fridays papers code,and which booking office opens earliest.
Perks members dont need codewords so soon as their booking office is open they're in.

Was hoping this promotion would include some later dates in September but only goes to September 5.


I know the sun usually run these promotions a few times a year so does anyone know roughly when the next promo will run and if later dates will be available?
