Change of address

How do I let DVLA know about a change of address? I've tried to do it online but for some reason it wasn't accepted (due to me not having a passport?!) so was wondering if I can get a form from somewhere to fill in?

Change of address for what exactly?

Driving Licence?

Car V5C (Registration Document)?

Or both?

Either way you just need to fill in the appropriate section on the document and post it to Swansea.

On the DVLA website to change a driving licence address, there are two tabs.
One says "Before you start", and lists all the requirements that you need to meet to do it online.
The other says "Other ways to apply" and answers your question.

You need to do V5Cs by post.

The new photocards that come out without a counterpart come stuck to a bit of white paper that says keep this if you need to change your details (or something to that effect) and if you haven't destroyed your old counterpart you can still send this in to get your address changed they will just return your new photocard without a counterpart.
