according to their specials starting 16th May it doesn't mention TVs so maybe this is just in your local store

I assume that these aren't widescreen Tvs - just the normal 4x3s?

    anyone know?

Hello, Well yes I bought 1 of these tvs this morn. The lidl store didnt open till 9am but i was there at 8.30 am.
They were £99.99 nicam stereo tvs.I got a silver 1 and they only sold them 1 per customer.the store only had 12.Now they were not widescreen just your normal 28 inch square screen but very big indeed and well worth that money.

!!!! Yes and my local Lidl store that this deal was in is in Newry,Co Down,N.Ireland!!!!!

This TV might be alright for a spare room, or in a B&B....

but personally, if it cost only £1 it would still not be worth buying.

I am surprised you can still buy non-widescreen TV's.

:-| Of course it would be worth buying if it was £1, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to afford a widescreen tv, even if they are very cheap now. Don't really see the point of the post??
