Our four year old Staffie was fine this morning when I came home at 2pm he was shaking and having trouble moving his back legs he can put it up to wee but won't climb on sofa or stairs or beg for treats which he usually does I'm worried sick any advice

    Sounds like hes had some sort of trauma. He needs to see a vet as a matter of urgency

    One of my dogs had this type of thing last year
    We found a big tick wedged and feeding between his pad
    Once that was removed it was instant relief but still a bit lame now and again
    After regular bathing within a week everything was back to normal

    Ticks are evil little cutters

    Of course if nothing can be found a trip to the vets is advisable

    Staffies are tough little dogs - anything which would have caused my staffie (long deceased) to react like that, would have had us rushing to the vet. Not so much the Springer who was a real wuss!
    I appreciate that vet visits cost money, and sometimes the month is just too long for the money - but, this sounds serious as you weren't there to see just what happened. you need expert advice.
