How can I claim PPI, please

And how do I know if I paid it or not? This week my husband received notification from a bank(CC), out of the blue, saying they owe him PPI and a cheque will follow!! So, we were wondering, what if I'm also owed but know nothing about? My husband says I can call and ask but, would they give me this information, especially if there's a chance they'll have to reimburse me? Also, 2-3 years ago I paid off a catalogue, and I now heard I might be be to claim on that. But how? I have 3 CC currently, and another one I'm about to pay off(and not use again). We also have been paying for some windows for the last 8 years with a loan from GE MONEY, still have 2 years to go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

yes they will. Also, 2-3 years ago I paid off a catalogue, and I now heard I might be be to claim on that. But how?
phone them, ask them if you had PPI and if so, give them your reasons for complaint.I have 3 CC currently, and another one I'm about to pay off(and not use again).
nice and easy. if you have PPi on those it will appear on the statements. We also have been paying for some windows for the last 8 years with a loan from GE MONEY, still have 2 years to go.
Ask the company that sold you the windows.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
If your GE Money loan was taken before 14 Jan 2005 - send your complaint to Pinnacle Insurance who were the underwriter. Pinnacle will pay your redress. Neither GE Money nor the seller will have complaint jurisdiction before this date. If after 14 Jan 2005, follow Dunstonh's advice and send complaint to seller. If seller has gone bust then FSCS. So all bases should be covered to give you a route for your complaint.0

It is currently 2016We also have been paying for some windows for the last 8 years with a loan from GE MONEY
2016 - 8 = 2008
As I recall, 14 January 2005 passed before 2008 began.0
