HI All, I see there are some good deals to be had at the moment and i am due a switch from my current tariff. I see GB Energy have a couple of good tariffs, one being variable the other being fixed.
In the current climate does anyone have any advice on whether i should choose variable or fixed pricing?
thanks

You need to move away from the mortgage mentality where you pay more for fixed.
Perversely, most of the one year deals in energy are fixed AND cheap.0 -
Unusually, GBEnergy's Premium Saver (variable) tariff is the cheapest tariff that the supplier offers. The advantages of selecting this tariff are that if the tariff price falls then you will automatically get the reduction. If GB wants to increase the tariff then it has to inform you in advance. Until their fixed tariffs fall below the Premium offer, I am happy to stay on this tariff. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
