EE Osprey 2 with half price 50gb offer

Did anyone on here take out the offer that EE had on earlier this year for the Osprey2 with 50gb data for £27.50 per month? I took out the offer and got an email back confirming £0 today and £27.50 per month (well, £24.50 including my second line discount), spoke on the phone to confirm this and then again rang to confirm the price when the item was delivered (as it still stated £55 per month but I was told it is £24.75 per month and that the £55 was just the name of the plan)
I have now got my first bill through stating that it is only a 3 month offer. I am 100% sure that this is not the case, I received an email late Dec early Jan detailing the offer and stating that it will save me £660 - so how could this only be a 3 month offer?
I have spoken to convergys about this, was asked to send some info which I did over a week ago - then heard nothing back.
So today I have emailed their complaints department to see if this can be looked at.
Was just wondering if anyone on here was having the same problem?
Cheers all

Just had a call from a lovely lady in EE customer Relations who informed me that a mistake had indeed been made and that it should have been life of contract. So a happy outcome - well done EE

Yes I am currently having the same problem, this is my third phone call to EE customer service... "the sales adviser told me EE would not do such a contract for 24 months, they would only such a deal for 3 months". It's so frustration my purchase confirmation states it's pay monthly £27.50, yet I am still being charged £55. I just wish I had a snap shot of the advert I saw so I can use it as proof.0
