Right Choice Insurance Brokers

Options
I recently did a comparison for Home Insurance based on the page on the main website.

Having used this format previously I had log ins for most, however the page also suggests using Quotezone.co.uk. I have not used this website before.

I am always vigilant to make sure I am not contacted by 3rd parties and made sure to tick all the relevant boxes, however yesterday i was contacted 7 times within 6.5hrs by Right Choice brokers asking me about the quotes from quotezone.

I am absolutely livid that this company has contacted me so many times - I blocked the number immediately, however although my phone doesn't ring they are still able to leave messages. All 7 phonecalls were made by different operatives, meaning my number is floating around their office and they have no idea what each other are doing.

I emailed them twice yesterday - still no reply, and I cannot get through to them on the phone - always on hold and I refuse to pay money for calling them.

Anyone else have any experience with them? I don't know if i can take this any further?

Thanks

This company have been subject to reports on online forums and are best avoided. Awful customer experience, nothing but a hassle. Some reports were saying they were quoting online and then phoning asking for increased premiums days after policies were bought.

Your number will just be on a dialer for a few days i would expect and then they will stop contacting you.

You do realise that comparison sites are one of the major tools allsorts of companies use to collect your personal data. Their use of data stretches the limits of the Data Protection Act. Once your data is made available to companies they sell it on to, they have no control over it.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
