  • Morning (((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Dr seems to think I had an attack of gastroenteritis, no idea where I got it. He was not surprised I am feeling so wiped out after the last few months. He is a really nice man, always asks how OH is and I keep him up to date with both of us.

U3A this morning, its the AGM so if I feel 'off' I can slip out. I am more than a bit peeved with one of the members of the quilt group, she has gone behind my back and done a couple of things I am not happy about. Seriously thinking of withdrawing and letting them paddle their own canoe. To be honest I am feeling I just cannot be bothered.

Cannot wait for next Thursday to go to our 'new' Aldi, its is closer to us than Melton.......and 15 miles less of a journey than to Grantham.

Time to go OH is standing here with my coat, tapping his foot!!

    Morning all

Focaccia proving for dinner tonight. Meatballs etc to go with it.

Lovely and sunny here, but wind has a bite. DH prepping the allotment and I'm still busy potting on and sowing seeds in the greenhouse.

considering a few days in Amsterdam as SIL will be there for 24 hours as part of European trip from Oz and would be nice to catch up, something good to research, as not until October. Lots of options as we live in Kent to get there.

Hope you all have a good day

My DD and I flew to Amsterdam a couple of years ago from London City airport and it was really easy Plus when you land the train goes straight from the airport into the centre in about 15 minutes.Love the place and have visitited it many times Probably the only european city or country that I would ever consider living in as the people and place is so nice friendly clean and no too expensive.Lots of stuff to see there as well The best I likeed was the Troppen Museum,Anne Franks house was a tourist pit and unless you are good at climbing stairs just not worth the effort. The Zoo was pretty good as well and the entertainment just strolling the streets was great.A highly recommened destination for a great taste of Holland and the dutch people are really welcoming to tourists.I envy you I hope you enjoy the city as much as I have done over the past 20 odd years.(buy a book of tram tickets from the tourist information place right outside the main station) its cheap as chips and riding the trams around the town is a great way to explore.
I should work for the Dutch tourism place I love it so much :):):):)

Well jaw has settled down to a low twinge now and again so hopefully the capsules are kicking in Had a better sleep last night as well:)
Just a pottering around day today general tidying up and then round to see the DGS after school. No shopping to buy just yet thats urgent I will leave it until the weekend I think

    Good evening everyone,

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Snoozer, I hope you have a lovely birthday and trip away.

Not been posting this week but have been reading. Hugs to everyone, and all poorlies.

Today has been a lovely sunny day, and I got some washing dry outside, just have to iron it all now:(

When I got home from work, I got my steam mop out and have given the kitchen floor tiles a really good clean and they have come up really nice. I shall keep doing little extra bits over the next few weeks.

I could really do with cutting the grass, so hope I may get a chance at the weekend will see how things go. I have been finding it hard to do anything more than the bare minimum at home lately.

Work was good tomorrow, but not sure how things will go tomorrow.

I will stop rambling now, have a good evening everyone. x.
