Marriage Allowance Maternity Q (right board?!)

Hi All,
I have read the marriage allowance page and due to being on maternity this year just gone we will qualify (yay).
Firstly a silly question, who does it get paid to? My partner or me?
Secondly, as the tax year is about to change and my payroll has closed for March do I need to do anything special to backdate it? Or will it just get spread over the next 12 months?
Thirdly as I will be returning to work I will go back over the threshold in 2016/17. At what point do I need to inform HMRC? I'm concerned they will stop my backdated payment if I tell them right now (as I've only just applied!)
Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance! If I've got the wrong board just let me know! Nice to meet you all!

Your partner gets the tax relief.
It's really easy to apply online, do it today you may get it for 15/16 and 16/17.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
