Best savings rates thread?

Have I imagined it or did a forumite used to keep a thread up to date for the best buys?

I know the MSE page below is there but normally the power of the forumites means they are more accurate.

No none of those am afraid.

Was intrigued(very) to see what the best fixed rate / fixed term savings were out there and thought there used to be a thread dedicated to that sort of product.

Not imagining totally - in ye olden dayes there were plenty of threads about new savings deals. Some of these (mentioned above) have become 'stickies', but the lack of decent deals is reflected in the lack of threads...

There are plenty of threads about deals. Just read the forums and you'll see them. 5% is a very decent rate
